The Forum

The World Youth Forum “Rihgt to Dialogue”

generates within the network of the International Poetry Competition Castello di Duino-Poetry and Solidairty Language of the Peoples, which comprehends thousands young people from 90 countries all around the world.

  • Want to adfirm the “right to Dialogue” as a fundamental Right
  • Intends to promote as an essential condition of the right to dialogue the meeting between different expiriences, about great scope topics involving multifarious fields of the culutral building of the participants(Literature, various arts, social engagement, voluntary service) aiming at multiply the suggstions for thinking and at emproving the ability to challenge the otherness, the difficulties and the complexity.
  • Accepts and emphasizes different abilities in processing proposed problems according to ages and diversities (buildings and cultural heritage)
  • Addresses young people and their conscious self-aknoledgment as resposnible subjects and leading class of the future
  • Addresses young people as the most important partners for the construction of cultural models carachterized by solidarity and openess
  • Intends to improve the consciuosness that the fialoguer schould be a dialogue betwen subjects, generationsand cultures.

The Forum is open to Associacions, Clubs, Artistic and Cultural gorups composed by young people, or particularly dedicated to young people. Furthermore it is opne all people who is active in challanging social questions or in the voluntary service.

The participants are between 18 and 35 years old. Justified exceptions are accepted.

Youth workers, families and teachers are particularly invited to accept as a input for reflexcions as well the demands, contradctions, hopes, disanchentement expressed by young people as also the proposals, teh anlysis and their noble ingenousness.

The Forum is a yearly event. It want to be the Basis for a permanent observatory on the youth culture in the world.

The Proceedings of the Forum are published in Italian and English and released all around the world in the countries of the participants.
