Svevo goes to school

March 21st, Saate Library of Trieste.

“Svevo goes to school. Suggestions, notes and counterpoints by Trieste students”. An event for the young student in order to commemorate 150 Years from the birth date of  the “Austrian” writer italo Svevo in the year which celebrates 150 years of Italian unity.

The Students of the Middle School Carlo Stuparich (Tiziana Weiss Institut- Trieste) and the Students of the junior high school “Liceo Carducci”- Trieste have been awarded for their interesting production. In particular the young students of School Carlo Stuparich have presented texts and comments on the basis of their interpretation of “La coscienza di Zeno” of Italo Svevo. Their texts were wirtten in papers rolled up in form of cigarettes, contained in a cigarettes packet.



Honour to the teachers  Eleonora Iscra (Stuparich School) and  Giulio Micheli (Liceo Carducci) who encouraged their pupils!!

Prof. Fulvio Senardi had a speech about Svevo and Trieste. Elsa Fonda read selected pages from Svevo literary work enchanting the hearers.
