20 Marzo: Prizegiving ceremony

The prize-giving ceremony of the First Edition of the Cometition took place in the Conference Hall of the Castello di Duino. Colours, sounds, enthusiasm were its character.

IN the morning before the Prize giving ceremony took place a workshop inspired by the topic of the competition Memory/Memories. The papers dealt with the distinctive frature of the poetic language and the cognitive capacities inherent to the work of translating.

Participants to the workshop: Roberto Dedenaro (poet and teacher of philosophy), Marina Moretti (poet and component of the jury), Gabriella Valera Gruber (historian, poet, organizer of the competition), Anna De Biasio, interpreter.

Furthermore participated Students of the Association AEGEE, (Associacion des Etats generaux des Etudiantes de l’Europe) Luis de Aguiar and Katrice Y. Williams.
